"Weetwood Hall", the University of Leeds owned conference hotel is just on the edge of town (Otley Road, Leeds, LS16 5PS, UK) and easy to reach from the station or the university with a direct bus (Line 1 to stop "Otley Road"). Apart from buses there are several taxi service companies - I personally find "Amber Cars" quite good and economical (+44 113 202 2117).

We will live and work in the same space - so it's easy to meet people. Weetwood Hall offers rooms at special rates. The surroundings are pleaseant, for walks, etc.

The best airport is Leeds-Bradford - but it is smallish. You can check here for flights to your area. Manchester Airport has flights to pretty much anywhere. There is a direct train from there to Leeds central station that takes ca. 1:20. Trains to Leeds from London (King's Cross) take ca. 2:15.
